Blogging Lions!!
Forget the drums, blogs are in!!
We want to hear your views about Lancaster and Morecambe Lions Club and Lions in general. Have you any ideas, comments, criticisms? Then why not register on our new Talking Lions blog It is simple to use (instructions below) and we can set up special interest groups as and when we wish. Please allow a few moments for the blog to load - it may be a little slower than our message board. Just follow the log on instructions and you will receive an email that will give you a link to confirm your details. Just check they are as you wish and save. You will then be able to post your comments/replies to stories on the blog. If you wish to post new stories, please give webmaster, Neil Ryder, a call or email (info@lancastermorecambelions.org.uk) to upgrade your permissions. You can also continue to use our existing message board if you prefer to do so (Instructions below). Please bear in mind that opinions expressed are those of the authors themselves and and may not be those of Lancaster and Morecambe Lions Club and its officials. |

Blog instructions
1, Click on the link which takes you to the Talking Lions blog.
2, You can read messages and comments by simply clicking on 'more' at the end of the summary.
3, You will need to register to add comments etc. This is a one off procedure.
3, To add a comment for the first time click 'create an account' below the login on the left hand side.
4, Fill in your details as instructed. You can choose what information to make public or hide.
5, Choose a username and password - preferably a combination of letters and numbers.
6, Click 'signup'
7, You will receive an email 'Subject signup confirmation................."
8, Click on confirm link (or open your web browser and copy into the address window)
9, Check your details, and 'save'. Click yellow logout button at top right of page and close page in normal way..
10, You will receive a 'Welcome to blogware account"' email. From then on just enter your user name and password to contribute to the blog. Default setting is 'reader account' which allows you to read and add comments.
Contact webmaster, Neil Ryder on 01524 389425 or email to upgrade to 'poster' account which allows you to start your own subjects. If stages 3-4 do not work just close block and try again - have found sometimes needs a couple of tries.
Finally - remember to log out after your session. All information provided is treated as confidential unless you choose to leave in public domain.
