Neil Ryder Communications is a freelance journalism/photography/press and public relations service based in the ancient city of Lancaster, Lancashire, in the North of England. We have now been established for over three years.

While our background is largely in the agriculture and rural sector, especially livestock. Our experience covers a wide range of areas including research and development stories. We are also handled an increasing range range of non-agricultural work.

Our business is based on over 30 years experience in newspaper journalism including periods in charge of shows and sales coverage and as features editor for Farmers Guardian - a major national farming newspaper with circulation around 45,000. FG is part of United Business Media, a major international business to business group. I also trained in general journalism and in applied biology.

Photography is a major part of our work and this has ranged from technical farming subjects, events including dinners, conferences to family occasions.
